Our Patron - Llewela Bailey

The BMTC are proud to announce that our new Patron is Llewela Bailey from ITV Central News.

Born in Sheffield but brought up in Worcester, Llewela began her broadcasting career in local radio before moving into television in the late eighties. Today she's part of Central News' main anchor team, together with Bob Warman and Joanne Malin. Llewela lives in Birmingham with her three sons, twins Harry and Ben and sixteen year old Tom. Her two older children Jack and Jessica are both at University.

Llewela says: 'I'm delighted and honoured to be asked to be patron of Bournville theatre. I'm looking forward to being involved in such a prestigious organisation, and of course can't wait to see some of the productions I've heard so much about!'
